Techivita's Note: Another poem from the publication, this one is a sonnet about darkness.
Written by Techivita on 5/18/15
The human fear of twilight is normal
For none can see through the darkness of night.
Eclipses are the end of all mankind
For darkness is where creatures love to strike.
A quiet rustle wont disturb in day
But in the night it is very amplified.
Exaggerated by imagination
Into monsters that would kill on sight.
Yet darkness is my only companion
Its quiet droning comforting and sweet.
A peaceful song of nothing and shadows
Where I can find the chance to finally sleep
For it is in the night a peaceful time
For where my thoughts are the only thing seen.
